Hi all Musicians & Music Lovers:
After many successful years, the Jazz Festival is continuing in the lovely valley of Halls Gap. Moreover, it has changed in name and fixture dates to the above.
Weather at this new time of the year is beautiful & no other events clash with these dates.
A small extra flavour of Blues has been added to all existing genres of jazz.
Planning is progressing well. Support from musicians and followers is overwhelming. To ensure the viability of this community owned event, we need you to register & pay fees as early birds. The scale of this festival will depend upon the size of early income.
At present, venues will be: Hall, Hub, Pinnacle, Mountain Grand, Comfort Inn, Spirit of Punjab, Kookaburra Hotel. If numbers are great, then a main Marquee will be considered.
Bands will be programmed in order of fee payment. To be generally fair, rules will have prevail, so preference will be given to discrete working bands – musicians forming ‘festival bands’ will be limited to playing in up to 3 bands only.
Registration Forms & a Flyer can be downloaded from the website www.hallsgapjazzblues.com.
The forms are self-explanatory. Please follow all instructions on filling them out. Note well any cut-off dates. All submissions must be posted to the address below. All return communication will be by email. So we must have your email addresses. All payments must be by Bank Direct Deposit or ‘over the counter’ in an ANZ branch. ‘Over the counter’ payments must be identified with your mobile phone number & the receipt slip must be posted with the rego form otherwise there is no proof of payment.
